LAHORE: At least 6 people
have been killed in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan.
According to initial reports, improvised explosive device (IED) was used to target the vehicle carrying three cand
idates seeking recruitment in the army.
The blast also left eight injured
which were later taken to District Headquarters Ho
spital (DHQ) Bannu for treatment.
The attack is recent in the wave of terrorist attacks targeting security personnel.
Last week, a similar attack claimed the lives of at least five people, including the h
ead of a peace committee, in South Waziristan.
